My growth journey after the eLearning Program
Before joining the elearning program, I was the Learning and Development Manager of Schoolinka... I knew curriculum development and developing courses was by trial and error, doing research to look for a suitable system that works for us... hence my learning design process was unstructured.
After completing the program , i was able to restructure our course development process to make it easier by applying design principles, especially the ADDIE Model.
I have facilitated sessions and led a team to create training programs. My exposure to the world of animations using Vyond during the program helped me start my learning journey on animation design.
I enrolled for the program at a time when my company was introducing new learning programs and the skills and experience I gained from the elearning program directed me to areas that I would have overlooked... That was the beginning of my journey to leadership roles.
In about 7 months of adding value to my organisation as a result of my new skill and experience from the bootcamp, I got promoted to “Head of Programme Operations”.
